LINO STRANGIS - (Lamezia Terme, Italy) is a multifaceted artist who uses various multimedia technologies in search of new possibilities of intermediality and transmediality. He has created and exhibited numerous works of single-channel video art, interactive installations and virtual reality in many exhibitions and festivals in various countries around the world. Also active as a musician, composer and performer, he is a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara. Also relevant is his experience in the field of the creation of multimedia-experimental scenic devices for himself and for various other theater directors as well as video-scenographies for various types of experimental shows in the contexts of contemporary music and dance.

SYNOPSIS:

RUNNING IN SUBATOMIC MEDITATION. A visualization of an impossible running of a human being in the normally unattainable subatomic dimension of which the universe is made. This race is a meditation of the mind that launches beyond its physical limits to know what is normally barred from it. Furthermore, the video sets in motion a pursuit of the male and female element that is the generator of life.

SYNOPSIS:

THE DANCE OF WIRED EMOTIONS. A dance in the darkness as a metaphor of the relational level of existence: a step in two during which the dancers are connected through a system of threads that connects them from long distances that can not be quantified. The choreography of the characters constantly change the environment, interpreting it and characterizing the shape and the evolution of the space-time ... ... Connective intelligence is a pre-existing phenomenon to the Internet and this audiovisual work tries to stage a experience of this truth.
