ANDREA MAIOLI

ANDREA MAIOLI - born in 1989, structures his figure of Visual designer and New Media artist over time thanks to increasingly intense experiences in the field of multimedia design, live performance and art direction of numerous projects and collaborations both in the artistic field and in the commercial one.

In 2011 he founded Kanaka, a multidisciplinary creative studio focused on video and sound design. Skilled in interactive new media platform, through visual design,3D, video mapping projections, immersive performances and sound engine, Kanaka designs new solutions to redefine people perception of the world around him.

SYNOPSIS:

IL MOSTRO: We are experiencing a worldwide pandemic that has confronted us with the limits of how we manage our lives. Many have felt crushed by the constant DPCMs and have cried dictatorship, others have fallen into a state of perpetual paranoia that has forced them physically home, then there are those who have been laid off and don't know how to cope with their children's expenses, and finally those who are not longer here to fight with us. We don't have bombs outside, the bombs are us. But if we could escape this virus, would we? If someone gave us a raft to get on and ferry us away from the death and desolation, would we accept? Even if on the other side they saw us only as invading monsters? Even at the cost of losing our lives? I immersed myself in a parallel situation and tried to tell the story. Because there is no single answer, but life, that must be respected. Always.
